This is exactly what we needed after a long day. We enjoyed the food and the wine. The service was so welcoming, and the ambiance was quiet and laid back. When you visit Mountain View, make this one of your stops.

Manny is amazing. Savvy is a gem, I wish they were open later. Service, ambiance, education. 10/10!

Wow so lovely came here for a celebration with family and friends love beer and wine, great customer service, yummy food and very lovely atmosphere :)

A friend and I celebrated Galentine's here this year and what an experience it was! Just getting to the wine bar was a bit of a challenge (finding a way to get to Castro St, looking for parking-- on a Wednesday!). We were actually late to the reservation but the place was about half full indoors. Nice and warm. The helpful host/wine connoisseur invited us to sit anywhere we liked. We opted to order via QR code and I couldn't find a moscato di Asti. The house wine expert (sorry, I didn't catch your name!) had me sample a German Riesling Spatlese, sweet style from Jochen Clemons 2016 and a heavier French dessert wine, I believe it was FR Chateau Grand Jauga Sauternes from 2018? Both were fantastic but I chose the Riesling for a lighter sip. To eat, we ordered the Margherita warm flatbread, cheese & charcuterie which includes bread, and the parmesan truffle tator tots. Delicious! The flatbread was so cheesy, tots were delightfully crisp, and the array of meats + cheese satisfying. We liked the prosciutto and manchego. Ambiance was wonderful! Lighting was dim with fairy lights bordering the inner second story walls. Music was soothing with cover guitar hits you'd normally only hear at fancy hotel bars. Seems like lots of regulars come near closing to unwind with a glass of bubbly as well.

Great find in mountain view on Castro close to the station. Superb selection of wines with wine flight trios that gets you to try different varietals. I also love that they had several small bites options because I always like a little bit of food with my wine I tried their Saxon brown Zin that was amazing. Also tried a few Spanish wines and pinos that all turnef good The food was surprisingly very good for a wine bar. The truffle tater tots and goat cheese bruschetta was incredible, and so were the Flat breads. Service is friendly and non intrusive. Definitely recommend this and can't wait to be back. Great for a romantic evening out or a visit with friends or a girls night out Parking was fairly easy as there are quite a few public parking places around here.

Chill, sip back & un-wine! On Fridays, they have live performances! Saturdays can be a hit or a miss. I went on a Sunday, which was typically slower. That's good because that means I have more space to myself! Less noisy. Plenty of parking nearby neighborhoods. Located in walking distance to downtown Mountain View. The patio seating is super cute! The interior is nice too. Love the pretty lights. My friend and I decided to sit outside. If you come later in the night, they have fire pit and heat lamps. Note: no one under 21 can enter because Savvy Cellar is considered a bar (per the liquor license). Dog friendly place (assuming the dogs are well behaved). FOOD: Cheese and charcuterie board $25 -- beautiful presentation! Good variety. Yum! Parmesan truffle tater tot $10 -- our favorite! Who doesn't love tater tots?? Definitely can taste the truffle flavor. Margherita flatbread $16 -- another fave! Cheesy flatbread with basil pesto and tomatoes. Great pairing with wine. DRINKS: Massolino moscato (MY FAVE sweet dessert wine). It tasted like juice or Stella Rosa! Super sweet. I'll take 2 more bottles please!! I can definitely see myself coming back just for that! Chateau grand-jauga sauternes (dessert wine) was my 2nd fave. The Riesling was too dry and not sweet enough for my liking. Overall, good vibes, music, food, and wine. But most importantly, hospitality! Ted (general manger) was great at offering recommendations. He was very attentive and definitely care about the guests. Check it out!
